Replace Floor Coverings

Remove and dispose of all existing Carpet and cove base off site. Do not remove existing tile in tiled areas. Dumpsters will not be provided by the Area Office. Clean and prep existing flooring surfaces to accept the new floor coverings. Patch/repair any damaged areas for accepting the new flooring surfaces. The tiled areas are suspected of being asbestos. Care shall be taken in working in the tiled areas to ensure the tiles are not disturbed. Seal the existing tiled areas before installing new tile. Furnish and install: Approximately 450 square feet of 26 ounce broadloom carpet. There are three offices in the property to be carpeted. Approximately 1,400 square feet of 12” x 12” vinyl tile in all areas not being carpeted. New vinyl cove base throughout the facility. Adhesive used to secure the flooring shall be as recommended by manufacturer and be low VOC’s to minimize the impact of flooring and cove base installation on facility occupants.
