2022 CDBG Resurfacing Program

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Carpentersville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot. The proposed improvements will consist HMA mill and resurface, sidewalk and carriage walk removal, placement of concrete sidewalk and curb & gutter, structure adjustments and reconstructs, Class D patching, pavement markings, restoration and all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards. This contracting opportunity has been made possible, in part, by the Kane County Board, through its Office of Community Reinvestment, with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Section 3 Businesses and Minority/Women-Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid on this project. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.08 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
