| Description | Refurbishing doors and rooftop hatches (both sides) at various water facilities. Refurbish, meaning sandblast and then painting all metal. Sandblasting will be done to the SSPC-SP-6 Commercial Blast Standards using a crushed glass aggregate. The inside roof hatch's do not need to be sandblasted. Paint the inside of the hithes including all hatch walls above the ceiling. Painting of the doors must include sandblasting and painting door frames. One coat of epoxy primer and a top coat of an acrylic-aliphatic urethane, color to be determined. Paint thickness is: 1. 4 to 5 mils DFT on the epoxy primer. 2. 2 to 3 mils DFT on the urethane top coat. |
