Description

Only General MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. This Basis of Design narrative outlines the repair and renovation of building HP514, the demolition of building HP515 and the construction of a new building HP515 adjacent to building HP514, and the demolition of buildings HP307 and HP308. All buildings are located at United States Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Building HP514 is a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ). The facility is a 3-story 44,016 square foot BEQ building. The scope of renovation includes selected exterior improvements and comprehensive interior renovations including reconfiguring the center core common areas to meet programming requirements noted in the SAES. The renovations will provide adequate living spacesfor permanent active-duty Marines located at MCAS Camp Lejeune. The Governments objective is to improve the condition of the barracks up to an acceptable standard in accordance with the United States Marine Corps Bachelor Enlisted Quarters Campaign Plan to improve the Single Marine standard of living.
