Description

For the renovation of an existing and fully-occupied 147-unit mid-rise, garden style community located in Silver Spring, Maryland. The scope of work is for, but not limited to, renovations which shall include: replacement of exterior siding, repair to breezeway entry stairs, gutters and downspouts, roofs; kitchen and bathroom upgrades including but not limited to new energy efficient appliances, cabinets and countertops; new fixtures and energy efficient lighting; replacement of HVACs and hot water heaters and relocation of hot water heaters; addition of 8 ADA/UFAS units per 233.3.1.1 of ADA 2010; and related site improvements including paving, concrete repairs, new signage, new trash enclosures, and construction of an exterior addition to the existing community/leasing office, and other miscellaneous work as defined by the Housing Opportunities Commission.
