Description | Renovation of existing circuit of tennis courts at Piney Wood Park, with restriping to convert existing tennis courts into twelve (12) pickleball courts. Scope includes temporary removal of existing perimeter chain link fence as required for construction equipment access, asphalt crack repair and crack repair membrane installation, 1-1/2 asphalt paving overlay, acrylic latex color coating and striping for 12 pickleball courts, new 4 high vinyl-coated chain link central divider fence, new net posts and nets. Alternate #1: Sidewalk replacement or repair in designated areas. Alternate #2: Full replacement of perimeter fencing with black vinyl-coated fencing to match existing configuration. Alternate #3: Extended maintenance and workmanship warranty for five years after final completion. Before bidding, each bidder should show the City bond form to its bonding company to be sure it can promptly issue the bond on that form in the event the contract is awarded to it. Each bond must be for 100% of the contract amount and must be executed by a NC-licensed surety Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals are MUBE 0% and WUBE 7%. Bids will be received for Single Prime Contract. All proposals shall be for lump sum. The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. |
