Berwyn Depot District Utility Improvements

This project involves both sewer and water system improvements along the project roadways in advance of a separate streetscape improvement throughout the Berwyn Depot District. The sewer improvements include approximately 9,930 feet of sewer ranging in size from 4” to 48”, including 1350 feet of a 48” local interceptor sewer that will connect to an existing MWRD interceptor with a sewer drop structure. 1955 feet of brick sewers will also be lined. The water system improvements include approximately 14,810 feet of water main in sizes ranging from 6” to 16”, including four encased crossings of the BNSF Railway. All fire hydrants and water services within the project will be replaced.
