Design-Build Services for Horizontal/Civil Engineering (Horizontal) Projects

The scope of work required of a selected Design-Build Firm for horizontal/civil engineering design-build projects shall include, but it shall not be limited to, the following design, permitting, and construction elements necessary for the renovation or new construction of roadways, drainage systems, intersection improvements, Streetscapes, sidewalks, pavement marking and signing, parking areas, traffic signals, lighting retaining walls, riverfront bulkheads, bridges, culverts, streetscape, utility construction and repair, underground and/or aboveground utilities, and various other appurtenant work in accordance with the requirements specified in the Design Criteria Package prepared by City

Division 01 -	General Requirements, Vehicular Access and Parking, Traffic Control, Temporary Barriers and Enclosures.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Erosion and Sedimentation Controls.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Ponds and Reservoirs, Storm Drainage Structures.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Transportation Signaling and Control Equipment, Roadway Signaling and Control Equipment, Traffic Signals, Traffic Control Equipment.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Shoreline Protection, Waterway Construction and Equipment.
