Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Hartford, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility. Problem: The firehouses within the City are in need of major upgrades and improvements. The firehouse are out of compliance with Civil Rights Act where equal facilities are needed for men and women. Also, some environmental hazards exist that should be remediated. Solution: Firehouse #11 is the first firehouse to receive a full upgrade to all major components including new roof, HVAC, kitchen, bathrooms and electrical. FY2023 Funds will be used complete the construction of Firehouse #11. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 08, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
