Maintenance of Regulated Underground Storage Tanks (Fuel) University of Tennessee Health Science Center (Memphis Campus) Facilities Administration Physical Plant

The preventive maintenance program for underground storage tanks (USTs) shall consist of periodic inspection and cleaning of the underground stored fuel. Fuel Cleaning - Once per year, the contents of each UST shall be filtered to remove any water, sediment, gums, algae and oxidized fuel. After the work, the condition of the fuel will be available to be used having no restrictions. Following the first such inspection, subsequent yearly inspections shall fall within two weeks of the calendar date of the first inspection.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities.
