Description | The Town of Wytheville is seeking sealed proposals from qualified companies to perform paving and milling operations on Town of Wytheville public streets. The streets selected to receive new bituminous concrete paving and associated curb and tie in milling are as follows, a) The west bound lane of West Lee Highway beginning at the start of division into a divided 4 lane between North 22 nd & North 24 th Street and extending west to Laurel View Drive, including all crossovers between the east bound lane and west bound lane sections of West Lee Highway. b) North Petunia Road beginning at the intersection of West Lee Highway and Extending north 700 linear feet. c) North 4 th Street beginning at the west corporate limits and extending east 50 liner feet. d) Tremough Drive beginning at the west intersection of Tremough Drive and North 4 th Street and extending east to the east intersection of Tremough Drive and North 4 th Street, being at the section of Tremough Drive that travels parallel to North 4th Street. e) North 4 th Street both east and west bound lanes beginning at the I-81 South Exit 70 off ramp and extending west along North 4 th Street to the east entrance to Northwinds Apartment Complex located at 2355 North 4 th Street, including all crossovers between the east bound land and west bound lane sections of North 4 th Street. f) Peppers Ferry Road beginning at the east corporate limits and extending west 2000 linear feet (selected sections receiving complete milling and paving). g) South 6 th Street & West Union Street intersection, beginning at the center line of West Union Street at the intersection of the center line of South 6 th Street and extending west and east 35 linear feet along West Union Street, being the south half of West Union Street, and beginning at the center line of South 6 th Street at the intersection of the center line of West Union Street and extending south 100 linear feet along South 6th Street. When obtaining the requested documents, the Bidder shall designate a representative for all correspondence between the Town of Wytheville and the Bidder. This designation will also include the representative's name, title, address, phone number, fax number and email address. The design of this project was completed by the owner's in-house design professional.
