Description | Cleaning and CCTV of sanitary-sewer lines, smoke testing, manhole locates and inspections, assessment report, manhole lining and rehabilitation, installing cured in place pipe liners (CIPPL), by-pass pumping, manhole frame and cover adjustments and replacements, sanitary-sewer point repairs, and sanitarysewer installations. Sanitary-sewer lines investigated and rehabilitated will range form 6-inch to 24- inch. This project will prioritize the investigative phase first and then focus on the rehabilitation phase second with remaining project funds. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses and Section 3 residents. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
