Description | PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. The project primarily consists of the replacement of the basement AHU's with a new AHU that services the basement and the 1st floors. Also include the replacement of an AHU that is located on the 1st floor mezzanine. The existing Roof Top Units will have dampers replaced. BID SECURITY A. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount (in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check) is required for bids totaling $175,000 or more. Electronically submitted bids require a copy of the bid security to accompany submission. Original cashier's check bid security must be delivered within three (3) business days of bid opening or postmarked on or before bid opening date ANNOUNCEMENT OF BIDDING A. Saint Paul Public Schools makes Announcements of Bidding in the following locations: 1. The St. Paul Legal Ledger PRE-BID CONFERENCE / WALK-THROUGH A. It is MANDATORY that a qualified representative from each prospective bidder's organization attends one of the two Pre-bid Conferences scheduled for this project. Each Pre-bid Conference will include a walk-through of the project. Sub-bidders are encouraged to attend. Prime Contractors are required to attend and will be responsible for any items discussed at the pre-bid meeting. Direct any communications to the Architect C. Prospective bidders will be required to sign-in and sign-out on the attendance form and a list of the prospective bidders will be included in an Addendum. Only those organizations listed in the addendum are eligible to submit a bid. D.
