164th Street SW Transmission Main Connection

The work under this Contract includes: Schedule A: • Access existing transmission main near I-5 and install internal joint seals • Pressure test existing transmission main in designated segments • Optional Bid Items for installation of additional internal joint seals and pressure testing Schedule B: • Install approximately 5,650 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron water transmission main • Install approximately 5,490 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water distribution main • Install approximately 450 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water distribution main • Install water services, valves, fire hydrants, connections, and appurtenances • Abandon-in-place or remove existing water main. located on the east and west sides of I-5, connecting to 164th St SW on both sides. On the west side of I-5 the project route is within an easement, Ash Way, and 20th Ave W. On the east side of I-5 the project route is within 169th Pl W, 13th Ave W, and includes a portion of distribution main within an easement. Restoration associated with the project includes, but is not limited to trench patching, full roadway asphalt overlay, retrofitted non-motorized facilities (curb ramps), replacement of existing traffic induction loops, and reconstruction of localized curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway, landscaping and other areas disturbed during construction.
