Electrical Services for the Newton Housing Authority (NHA)

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company. Or a bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by Newton Housing Authority, all in the amount of 5% of the bid payable to the "Newton Housing Authority." The Newton Housing Authority reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Authority. The Newton Housing Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This invitation for bid is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M. All questions regarding the scope of work involved in the contract shall be directed to Christine Long, Capital Improvement Coordinator, by emailing clong@newtonhousing.org. The Contract for Electrical Services is estimated to cost $49,500 and is for a one-year term with a possible additional two, one year terms at the discretion of the Authority. The total estimated value of a three-year term is $148,500.
