Description

This project consists of milling and resurfacing West Boulevard from (US 90) Jackson Avenue to South Boulevard including drainage improvements near West Boulevard / Forrest Avenue Intersection and general ditch shaping in various locations of the project. The total project length is approximately 0.36 miles. The typical section and pavement design will be comprised of 1-1/2” of milling, 1” (110 lbs./sy) of structural course followed by a 1” friction course of SP 9.5 Traffic Level B, PG 76-22 asphalt concrete. The small reconstruction areas shall consist of a 12' of stabilized subgrade, optional base groups (Type B-12.5 only), 2' of type SP 9.5 Traffic Level B asphaltic concrete. The project will also include minor trimming to trees if needed sodding, seeding and mulching, drainage improvements, residential/commercial apron connections, manhole adjustments, Valve adjustments, signing, pavement markings along the roadway, and intersections.
