Kemper Homes and Outbuilding Demolition

Demolition of Kemper homes and outbuildings. Contractor shall provide to the City services for the demolition of the structure known as the "Kemper House" located at 9991 West 179th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66013 as outlined in this Agreement and the defined Scope of Services attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as Exhibit A, all to the City's full satisfaction, hereinafter the "Work." In performing the Work, Contractor shall comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinance. Contractor shall obtain and maintain all necessary federal, state and local permits, licenses and certifications related to the Work. The City assumes no responsibility for the actual condition of buildings or structures to be removed. All existing structures and their contents present on the date of the Notice to Proceed shall become the property of the Contractor, who shall be responsible for the proper removal and disposal thereof. All removal work on the site must be performed by the Contractor or his approved subcontractors. No other individuals or firms shall be permitted to access the site for the purpose of removing or salvaging materials.
