Description | Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to provide all design and construction efforts required to Install New Taxiway Edge Lights TW-G. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $19M. Statement of Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement will be competed on the open market using Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.1. utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to, the following: route a install flush mounted blue taxiway (TWY) edge lights (45 watts) on pavement, elevated blue taxiway lights (45 watts) in the grass to define the lateral limits and direction of a taxiing route at TWY G hammerhead from TWY H to End of Runway (EOR) shack, one 45-watt isolation transformer for each edge light (both the primary and secondary amperage shall be 6.6 amps), and all wiring, conduit, and miscellaneous materials as required for a completely functional taxiway edge lighting system. The project will comply with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design rules and standards with Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) 3-535-01 as the lead guidance document. The performance period is anticipated to be 210 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
