Description

The general location of the proposed Work for the Project is along First Street South from Central Avenue to Fifth Avenue South. Replacement of approximately 1,880 Linear Feet (LF) of 12-inch water main (WM). The project also includes the appropriate testing and disinfection of the proposed WM, connection to the existing WM at each end of the project and to existing services, associated valves, fittings, fire hydrant assemblies and appurtenances required to replace the existing 12" water main, surface and roadway restoration, including milling and repaving as shown in the plans. The WM is to be installed using a combination of Horizontal Direction Drilling (HDD) and Open Cut (OC) methods.
