Concrete Repair at Elmwood Correctional Facility

The Work will consist of Concrete Repair at Elmwood Correctional Facility. Successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary equipment, tools, materials, consumables which shall include, but shall not be limited to, workers’ supplies or protective garments, disposable items used in furtherance of completing the Work, labor, and supplies required to perform the work. Sawcut the perimeter of the approximately 1,240 square feet of pavement to be replaced. Break up and dispose of the resulting rubble, excavate for the placement of a fiveinch-minimum thickness concrete slab. Re-compact the existing base rock. Install 30 inch #4 into the existing concrete-6” minimum depth. Place #4 re-bar in a 16”X 16” grid pattern. Space the re-bar 2” off the sub grade. Place six sack fiber reenforced concrete creating a five-inch-thick concrete slab that conforms in elevation to the existing concrete and the sawcut A/C. strike control joints and provide a medium broom finish.
