Waterbourne Traffic Paint

FTA is seeking bids for Waterbourne traffic paint to paint the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA) and Niagara Falls International Airport (NFIA) Airfield surfaces, parking lots and roadways on airport property. These goods or services have been purchased from an out-of-state/foreign vendor within the past three years. Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: -In general, the NFTA hereby established an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation; 15% for New York State certified minority-owned business enterprises ("MBE") and 15% for New York State certified women-owned business enterprises ("WBE") participation (collectively, "MWBE Contract Goals") based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs. There are no specific MWBE goals for this procurement. hree types of low volatile organic compounds (VOC) are included in these specifications. The paint must be one-component, readily mixed, highly-visible, fast-drying, and 100% acrylic, waterborne airfield and traffic marking paint. The paint must be suitable for application on traffic-bearing surfaces such as Portland and bituminous cement concrete, asphalt, tar, and previously painted areas of these surfaces. The paint may be used either alone or to bind reflective beads. The paint must be available for delivery by July 20, 2023
