Description

The Government is seeking qualified, experienced firms for multidisciplinary Architect-Engineer services in accordance with Public Law 92-582, the selection of Architects and Engineers statute (formerly known as the Brooks Act) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36.6 for inland and coastal civil works type projects falling under the USACE Civil Works mission areas. Types of services anticipated are, but not limited to: dam safety studies and designs, hydropower/utility assessments, water control manuals, flood damage and risk reduction, coastal erosion, storm damage risk reduction and beach nourishment, shoreline and stream bank erosion protection, shallow and deep draft navigation, environmental and ecosystem habitat restoration, comprehensive watershed evaluations, and multi-purpose water resources projects. Capabilities would include comprehensive planning, technical analysis, economic and environmental studies, engineering, design, and construction management services including preliminary studies through feasibility report development; engineering design through detailed plans, specifications, and design analysis, design documentation report preparation, value engineering, preparation of design build request for proposal packages (DB RFPs) and full design-bid-build packages (DBB RFPs), and cost estimating.
