| Description | Jefferson Lab is a nuclear physics research facility operated by Jefferson Science Associates LLC (JSA) under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy. JLab is issuing this RFI in order to gather final budgetary numbers and anticipated lead times for planning and scheduling. This is a follow up RFI that was initially sent in the Summer of 2020. Funding for the MOLLER program was included in the recent Inflation Reduction Act that was just recently passed by Congress. It is JLabs intent to issue the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for these items in the March/April 2023 timeframe with anticipated award during the Summer of 2023. The supplier selection process will most likely be a BestValue/Trade Off evaluation. |
