Project Category Code: Water Tower Rehabilitation and Repair Description: The proposed construction consists of replacement of the 12" interior riser pipe in the Woodside Tower located at N75 W23416 Water Tower Court. The tower is a 250,000-gallon elevated Waterspheroid Tank by Horton Pedestal Tank constructed by CBI Na-Con, Inc. in 1987/1988. The tank is 114'-5" high from ground level to highest projection. The riser pipe shall be replaced from the thrust elbow in the vault below grade to approximately 1'6" (18 inches) into the sphere, including replacement of the expansion joint, bracing, sample taps, and silt stop assembly. The new pipe shall be insulated to prevent freezing. Remove and replace existing steel riser pipe and replace with a new schedule 40 steel riser pipe with insulating jacket, expansion joint and associated accessories. Project is to be ready for Substantial Completion on or before Monday, October 20, 2023.
