Demolition of 1408 North Tift Avenue

The work includes demolition of the structure, removal of the debris and proper disposal. Demolition to include foundations, utility services, driveway and any other features on the property. Asbestos containing material has been identified in the structure and the contractor will remove the asbestos After demolition and debris removal, the site will be backfilled as needed and smooth graded. The top 6 inches of fill to be topsoil. The entire site is to be grassed after grading. Work will include erosion control, permits and other items needed for a complete project. The contractor will stockpile the brick and concrete on-site for removal by Tift County Public Works. Contractor will be responsible for ensuring all utilities are disconnected prior to demolition.
