Broadband Expansion for Fort Bend County

Fort Bend County, Texas (hereafter referred to as the (County) seeks proposals (Proposals or RFP) for the procurement of one (1) or more broadband network providers to deploy broadband connectivity in Fort Bend County with a focus on the priority areas identified in Exhibit A. In this Phase 1, FBC would like to address unserved/underserved areas in Needville, Kendleton, Simonton and Thompsons. Should additional areas (Phase 2) need servicing in the future, a new solicitation will be formally advertised. Deadline for submission of questions and/or clarification is no later than Thursday, May, 25, 2023 at 9:00 AM (CST). Requests received after the deadline will not be responded to due to the time constraints of this Proposal process. Proposals received after the specified time will be returned unopened. All addendums will be posted on Purchasing Agent's website located at website. Unit pricing required; payment will be by check. Bonds are required. Fort Bend County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
