Construction Services for exterior improvements at the Jackson County, Missouri downtown Courthouse. Project Location: Jackson County Courthouse, 415 East 12 th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106 Deadline to submit Questions Jun 13th 2023, 5:00 PM CDT - All questions must be received on the Bonfire Portal Completion- (190) Working Days 9.5 %MBE 11.7 %WBE 9.5 %VBE 1. North main public entrance at First Floor a. New ADA compliant ramp from the north plaza to the east side of the north upper terrace and building entrance. b. New tiered planters at west side of stairs. c. Replace all limestone stair treads and upper terrace paver walking surfaces with new Dolomite stone. Modify, clean and reinstall granite stair treads. d. New hydronic sub-slab radiant snow/ice melting system under all of the north plaza, stairs, ramp and upper terrace walking surfaces. The generating equipment for this system will be located in an interior mechanical room in the building. e. Existing modified and new aluminum handrails at stairs to building entry and ramp. f. Renovate north plaza pavement, landscaping and lighting. g. Replace interior and exterior entrance doors and hardware, and install fixed glass barrier within vestibule. h. Exterior stone and metal restoration. 2. West Entrance a. Replace concrete sidewalk pavement to correct running and cross slopes. b. Repair damaged limestone pavers at top landing of stair and ramp, and repair missing or failed joint sealants. c. New aluminum handrail at either side of stair. d. Replace exterior entrance doors and hardware, and refinish existing interior wood doors with bronze hardware. e. Exterior stone and metal restoration. 3. East building exit from Lower Level a. Repair limestone stair treads that have settled, replace nosing at top riser, and replace missing or damaged joint sealants. b. Replace trench drain cover. c. Install granite landing outside exterior door. d. New aluminum handrail at either side of stair. e. Signage at interior doors directing users to the accessible west exit. f. Replace exterior entrance door and hardware. g. Exterior stone and metal restoration. Project No- 3921.2.01
