Description

One crucial objective of this project is to keep Fire Station #1 functioning throughout the entire duration of construction. We have made suggestions in this narrative as to how this may occur, but are anticipating having additional conversations with the Bidders to determine how they may best execute said task. While locating the matching materials we specified 30 years ago may prove to be challenging, we at JSN will gladly assist in the material selection process. In our notes, we have made exact specifications, but dye lots and product runs may exhibit a variable that needs to be discussed. We are assuring you that we will help make these selections and will require samples to be submitted before a purchase is made. When the facility is completed, there should be no way to tell where the new building starts and or the old building stops. The budget is fixed. We must complete this project on time for a fair price. We are allowing all qualified contractors to bid this work, so the Market will determine the real cost of labor.
