Two Speed Studies - Sauk County Highway Department

Sauk County Highway Department is soliciting proposals from qualified professional engineering consulting firms to provide two Speed Studies as follows: CTH DL, in the Town of Baraboo, Sauk County. The speed study will be from the STH 113 intersection to 1 mile east of the Old Lake Rd intersection. The major concerns are bikers, pedestrians, and vehicles entering and exiting Devils Lake State Park located within the study area. It is anticipated that at least 3 data collection locations should be included in the proposal. CTH V in the Town of Winfield, Sauk County. The speed study will be from the Reedsburg City Limits to the Barbara Ann Dr. intersection. In this study area, there is a safety concern with vehicle speeds and pedestrian use from the Reedsburg Middle School to the Subdivision located on Barbara Ann Dr. It is anticipated that at least 2 data collection locations should be included in the proposal.
