Description

The project consists of a major rehabilitation/upgrade of an existing 4-unit historical public housing building, located at 7265 NW 22 Ave Miami, FL 33147, Folio No. 30-3110-063-0010. The construction of the building was completed in 1961. In May 2007, Miami-Dade County Historic Preservation Board designated it as a Historic Building based on the historical qualities of the site. The 2-story building includes 4 residential units: Two 2-bedroom units and two 3-bedroom units. The building total area is approximately 3,800 SF (First floor is approximately 1,960 SF and second floor is approximately 1,840 SF). The project includes but it is not limited to: demolition of existing conditions, asbestos remediation, structural repairs, new roofing, exterior skin modifications, new impact doors and windows, new interiors, new appliances, complete replacement of all MEP systems, and site improvements. Exterior work includes, but it is not limited to: all new concrete walks, site lighting, landscaping, new exterior painting, new fencing, parking lot with drainage for existing units, and refurbishing of the historic mural by a local artist. The proposed alterations to the building will maintain its historic integrity and authenticity.
