Description

• The I-3306A Design-Build Project in Orange County widens I-40 from I-85 to the Durham County Line, a distance of approximately 11.4 miles. The Project will provide a six-lane facility and modify interchanges, including the I-40 / NC 86 interchange. • The project’s primary purpose is to relieve peak hour congestion on I-40 such that a LOS D or better can be maintained for the 2040 Build condition.
