Description

The full scope of work for the project will consist of installation, pressure testing, and disinfection of approximately 2,900 linear feet of 8-inch Class 350 DIP water main, 3,700 linear feet of 12-inch Class 250 DIP water main, and 5,500 linear feet of Class 250 DIP 16-inch water main; installation of Class 250 valves, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances, installation of cross street and service connections, reconnection of existing service meters, backfill, compaction, surface restoration, removal of approximately 9,500 linear feet of cast iron mains; abandonment of existing cast iron water mains; traffic control; and erosion and sedimentation control, as required.
