Description | As of October 21, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City desires to develop a design for the Breton Avenue crossing of the Paul Henry Trail between 52nd Street and 60th Street. The City anticipates design will begin upon selection and would like the design to be completed by November 16, 2022. Questions must be sent via email to derengowskic@kentwood.us. The Subject line is to read, QUESTION RE: CITY OF KENTWOOD RFP 22-030-449.The body of the email should contain the question for which an answer is sought and the contact information for the person and company submitting the question.Questions must be submitted prior to 10:00 AM (EDT) on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, any questions submitted after that date and time will not be considered.The City may respond to all questions by sending an email to registered plan holders containing the question (or an edited version of the question, if necessary to protect the identity of the submitter) and the City's answer to the question. The City anticipates approval of the award of a contract to the Consultant at the scheduled meeting of the City Commission on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Upon approval by the City Commission, the City anticipates issuing a Notice of Award on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, with the Services to commence as soon as feasible after the award. The City reserves the right to award as deemed to be in the City's best interest.The City reserves the right to contract with the awarded Consultant for additional projects and/or for an additional term of service as deemed necessary for future road projects.The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to include other relevant terms, conditions and specifications in any agreement resulting from this RFP.The City reserves the right to alter this schedule as deemed best for the interests of the City.The City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, or to reject all proposals, to waive any formalities, to elect not to enter into any contracts as a result of this RFP, and/or to award the contract in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the City.The City reserves the right, at its sole option, to request of any Respondent financial information which will allow the City to determine if that Respondent has sufficient financial strength to complete the Services. The City may be able to conduct such review in a manner which will not subject Respondent's financial information to disclosure under FOIA. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. |
