Description | Clayton County Public Schools Athletic Fields Improvements Group A: North Clayton High 1525 Norman Dr., Atlanta, GA 30349, Charles Drew High 6237 Garden Walk Blvd., Riverdale, GA 30274, Forest Park High 5452 Phillips Dr., Forest Park,GA 30297, Lovejoy High 1587 McDonough Rd., Hampton, GA 30228 and Mundy's Mill High 9652 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30238 (the "Projects") . Architectural Project #2109. The proposed project work consists of the following: The renovations and modifications of the athletic field buildings at five high school locations. The scope includes the reconstruction of the dugouts, concessions and press box buildings, replacement of fencing, the addition of bleachers, new scoreboards as well as track resurfacing and irrigation at the football fields. Additionally, two locations' gyms will receive interior renovations that will include replacement of the telescoping bleachers and floor refinishing. All anticipated federal, state and local permits required for the Project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated on or before June 1, 2022. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have not been obtained. Required rights of way or easements are anticipated on or before June 1, 2022. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. Any person or entity that has not become prequalified to submit a Bid on the Project shall not be permitted to submit a Bid on the Project and any Bid submitted by any person or entity that is not prequalified shall be returned unopened. |
