Description | Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, payable to the Ferry County, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price. The project generally consists of the following work: Removing an existing undersized culvert, installing a three-sided aluminum box culvert, associated roadway repairs, and other related work. Thirty (30) working days will be allowed to complete the work. This project is funded through a Federal STP grant. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or subcontract resulting from this solicitation of bids. All work performed will be subject to the higher of State or Federal prevailing wage rates. Award of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency. The County shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
