Doherty Middle School Elevator - Town of Andover

Renovation of an educational facility in Andover, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. This is a phased project to construct an elevator, renovate the ramp area, and provide code updates at Doherty Middle School. Funding for design services was approved at Town Meeting 2020. The revised renovation scope includes the installation of an elevator, configuration of a new second floor plaza area outside the gymnasium, construction of new, accessible, single-user restrooms near the auditorium, the installation of a new HVAC system for that area of the school building, and installation of sprinklers throughout the building. This project is in included in the Town of Andover FY 2023 - 2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of June 17, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
