Contractor shall dig out the ground around the affected area to expose damage to the water distribution line. If necessary, contractor shall remove a section of concrete sidewalk, and dispose of, to access the broken water distribution line. The contractor will remove failed valve, replace w/ HDPE water line. The contractor shall make needed repairs to restore the water distribution line to normal working order. The contractor shall have repairs leak tested and inspected prior to covering water distribution line with ground materials. Contractor shall return all sidewalk, ground covering, plumbing and equipment to its normal working order.
