Job Order Contracts (JOC) for Paving, Surfacing and Site Work

The County of Loudoun, Virginia (County), seeks to award one (1) or more with a maximum of three (3) Job Order Contracts (JOC or Contract) to qualified Contractors to provide county-wide paving, surfacing and sitework work on an as-needed basis at various Loudoun County facilities over a one-year Base Term and up to two (2) one (1) year additional Option Terms. A Job Order Contract (JOC) is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced, indefinite quantity contract. The Work includes a collection of Tasks and related Specifications that have pre-established Unit Prices. The Contracts are to be used for the accomplishment of paving and repair of access roads, parking lots, pervious pavements, pedestrian/bike trails; and paving repairs, resurfacing, miscellaneous site work including but not limited to excavation, grading drainage and ancillary work by means of individual Job Orders issued under the Contracts and related to discrete Projects as they are identified. JOCs will generally be utilized to accomplish small to medium sized Projects with a typical Job Order value within the range of $10,000-$200,000. The typical Work is anticipated to include, but not be limited to, projects such as: paving, paving repairs, resurfacing, installation of utilities, construction of sidewalks, miscellaneous site work including but not limited to excavation, grading and ancillary work.

Division 01 -	General Requirements, Vehicular Access and Parking, Traffic Control, Temporary Barriers and Enclosures.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Earthwork Methods.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
