Lynx Lake Crossing Upgrades

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Contractor shall be responsible for all construction items associated with this project to the limits shown. All work on ARRC property shall be conducted in strict accordance with the requirements contained in the Standard Specifications for Work on Railroad Property. Unless otherwise specified, all track materials and work methods shall comply with the applicable standards contained herein. The work involved in this project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following activities: Contractor shall provide grading and paving support as required for the upgrading of the Lynx Lake crossing located within the Matanuska Borough. Lynx Lake crossing is located at ARRC MP 180.01, where N Lynx Lake road crosses the tracks. Currently the project is schedule start between mid-July and early August 2021 o Substantial Completion date of August 30, 2020. Substantial Completion shall include all items of the SOW except for the deliverables. o Final Completion date of September 15, 2022 Bid Security: In accordance with ARRC Procurement Rule 1200.4, all Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a cashier's check or an acceptable Bid Bond, a form of which is provided herein, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid price. The Undersigned proposes to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) and a Performance Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) (of the contract), as surety conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of this contract.
