Roofing, Soffits, Fascia, and Other Improvements At the Whitford Park Pavilion Village of Waterford

This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is issued by the Village of Waterford (the "Village"). The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a qualified contractor (the "Contractor") to provide services for the removal and installation of a new shingled roof, Replacing soffit and fascia, new siding material on the south end of the building, and Adding a new soffit and Ceiling System in the open section of the pavilion, ("Project"), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal (the "RFP"). Award of contract no later than June 27,2023 It is the Village's intent to enter into a contract with a Contractor who best demonstrates the ability to provide removal and installation services as described. After review of the proposals, if the Village decides it is not in the best interest to enter into a contract, the Village will notify all Contractors. For the purposes of this RFP, the selected Contractor will be required to work directly with the Village to accomplish the following design requirements: 1. Remove existing roofing, Village to provide dumpster. inspect the condition of existing roof sheathing and framing. Clean up the jobsite daily. 2. Install 6 ft of Owens corning warranty approved ice and water shield, and around all roof protrusions as needed, and along gutters edge as needed. 3. Install new color matched metal drip edge, and gutter apron over the Ice and water shield, install new leaded soil stack covers and a new ridge vent system along the main peak. 4. Install a Owens Corning warranty approved synthetic underlayment and Owens Corning Trudefinition Duration lifetime shingle to color match (Estate Grey) the nearby bathroom building. 5. Install all new trim, facia and soffit in prefinished LP cedar textured boards on the entire building.Vent all soffits as required. Add 2x4 framing as needed to support the soffits. Color to be determined and approved by the village. 6. The interior of the Ceiling in the outdoor pavilion area to be covered with Pro-Rib steel panels. Add 2x4 framing as needed to support the ceiling. 7. Add new LP smart side textured smart siding panels and trim to the south gable end 8. Bidders must do an onsite inspection, measurements, as well as an onsite meeting. Please contact Mike for scheduling. (Contact information in Section 1.02). 9. Obtain all necessary permits.
