MP 421.57 BIN 1022859 • Set up detours and nightly work zone traffic control (WZTC). • Remove bridge coatings at affected areas and perform magnetic particle tests. • Install temporary girder support/strongback. • Heat straighten as required prior to structural steel removal. • Remove damaged section of web and bottom flange. • Repair girder web and bottom flange. • Remove temporary girder support/strongback. • Remove all WZTC. • MP 463.45 BIN 5511490 • Set up detour and nightly work zone traffic control (WZTC). • Remove bridge coatings at affected areas and perform magnetic particle tests. • Install temporary girder support/strongback. • Heat straighten as required prior to structural steel removal. • Remove damaged sections of webs and bottom flanges. • Repair girder webs and bottom flanges. • Remove temporary girder support/strongback. • Increase vertical clearance over Thruway as per Contract Documents • Remove all WZTC.
