Bobo Section Road Water Line Replacement

The Contractor shall: • Install temporary erosion control devices per the Erosion Control Plan; • Install approximately 1,700 linear feet of new 12-inch water main, including hydrant and valve assemblies; • Perform horizontal road bores for service lines; • Install new services on the new main; • Pressure test and disinfect the new main and services; • Install new meters and backflow preventers; • Transfer customers to the new main; • Connect the new main to the existing mains; • Repair driveways and culverts to original condition or better; • Abandon existing mains and remove old hydrants and valve boxes; • Landscape yards and right-of way to original condition or better; • Remove temporary devices (sample taps, blow-offs, erosion control devices) from the site.
