Description | Painting Exterior Masonry Buildings The City of Croswell Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is seeking sealed bids for the painting of three masonry buildings at the WWTP and the EMS building The City of Croswell reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids For additional information please contact Ed Carstens at the Wastewater Treatment plant, 5580 Lancaster St., Croswell, (810) 679-2459 Remove all loose paint and foreign material from the surface area to be painted with a carbonundum stone and/or stiff brush, per manufactures specs. Remove stains from masonry surface caused by weathering of corroding metals with a solution of sodium metasilicate after being thoroughly wetted with water and allowed to thoroughly dry. Remove oil and grease with a solution of tri-sodium phosphate, rinse well and allow to thoroughly dry. The paint shall be an Epoxy/Polyurethane system Gloss/Semi-Gloss First coat: Series 66 Hi-Build Epoxoline, 2.04.0 mls thickness Second coat: Series 1074/1075 Endura-Shield II, 2.03.0 mls thickness Acceptable paint manufactures include: Sherwin Williams and Tnemec Company. Color to be approved by Supervisor |
