Description | Contractors for the outer parking lots repaving at Saratoga Apartments, 3475 32"d Avenue North and 3480 33red Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL. 1. Remove the existing asphalt paving (2.5 inches +/-) and resurface with new asphalt paving (2.5 inches +/-) for two (2) parking lots as indicated on the drawings. 2. Remove soft spots within the existing granular base of the two parking lots to be resurfaced. Install new granular fill and compact prior to new asphalt installation. 3. Re-compact both parking lots granular base prior to new asphalt installation. 4. Confirm maintaining the consistency of new 2.5 inches of asphalt paving while maintaining slope for drainage and provide additional granular fill if necessary. 5. Provide and install new parking lot stripping paint for handicap pedestrian access and vehicular parking spaces. 6. Along the edges of the existing parking lot, remove and clean up the existing edges of soil/excess granular fill and re-shape as noted on the drawings. Provide new granular fill, compact and install new asphalt paving along the edges. 7. New asphalt paving 2.5 inches (+/-) first layer 1.5 inches S1 and second layer 1.0 inches S3. 8. Reinstall concrete wheel stops, if damaged beyond reuse, provide and install new concrete wheel stops. 9. Along perimeter edge of lawn and new asphalt paving, prepare lawn area for reseeding or sod. 10. Adjust handicap signs and replace and install existing tactile pads with new pads per ADA requirements. 11. Broken and/or damaged concrete walks adjacent to asphalt replacement and/or granular replacements to be repaired or replaced. 12. Provide necessary safety barriers and signage in advance when work is to occur. |
