Description

KHS: 1. South Main Entry Renovation: The Kingwood High School’s South Main Entry will be renovated through the addition of an extended Entry Canopy, both Main Entry and new Gym Entry Canopies will share the same architectural language to provide a unifying look to the School’s South facade. 2. The New Gymnasium: The Kingwood High School’s South Main Entry will be renovated through the addition of an extended Entry Canopy, both Main Entry and new Gym Entry Canopies will share the same architectural language to provide a unifying look to the School’s South facade. 3. New Career and Technical Education (CTE) Nursing Lab: By the northeast end of the School, a Nursing CTE Lab surrounded by three classrooms and Pharmacy Tech Lab will be added. The exterior area will be improved and will have new parking spaces. KPHS: 1. Gymnasium Entry Renovation: The Kingwood Park High School’s Gymnasium Main Entry will be renovated through the addition of an extended Entry Canopy. 2. New Career and Technical Education (CTE) Tiny Homes Workshop and Office Space: By the northwest end of the School, the Tiny Homes Workshop Area and the Architecture Classroom will be added, it will also contain an additional new Admin. Office Space. The Office Space will consist of two offices, one Conference Room, and a Reception area, a new driveway and Parking Spaces. 3. The New Gymnasium: The addition of a new Gymnasium will include support equipment spaces and additional athletic storage for the Campus. This addition will also include extended interior corridor replacing the existing exterior covered walkway connecting back to the commons. 4. New Career and Technical Education (CTE) Culinary Lab: Also connecting to this new interior corridor described above, there will be a new Culinary CTE Lab in the current open area between the two middle exterior walkways. 5. The New Courtroom and Classroom: A new interior renovation will add a Courtroom space along with a new Classroom will be created on the second floor, at the most northern end of the building.
