Work Types are eligible to bid this project : 4 or 5 Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.35(D), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (Lwd Commissioner) Makes an Initial Determination That an Employer Has Violated the Provisions of P.l.1963, C.150 (C.34:11-56.25 Et Seq.) by Paying Wages at Rates Less Than the Rates Applicable Under That Act, the Lwd Commissioner May Immediately Issue a Stop-work Order to Cease All Business Operations at Every Site Where the Violation Has Occurred, and May Assess a Civil Penalty of $5,000 Per Day Against the Employer for Each Day It Conducts Business Operations in Violation of the Stop-work Order. If the Stop-work Order Is Issued Against a Subcontractor, the General Contractor May Terminate That Subcontractor From the Project in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.35(D). The Attention of Bidders Is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning the Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work Is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date.
