Intermodal Gate Expansion

The proposed work consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the construction of approximately 4, 400 lineal feet of roadway for intermodal traffic at the Garden City Terminal. The work includes construction of a roundabout and a four-lane inspection canopy with booths. The roadway construction occurs mostly on existing pavement or previously prepared subgrades, with limited clearing and earthwork. Other work includes but is not limited to pavement demolition, pavement milling, asphalt leveling and paving, concrete paving, installation of water, stormwater, and electrical/communication utilities, pavement markings, signage, and other ancillary items as required to complete the work. The project is located at the Garden City Terminal, Garden City, Georgia.
