| Description | The University of Arizona, Richard F. Caris Mirror Lab (RFCML) casts and polishes large honeycomb telescope mirrors. All previous mirrors 6.5 and 8.4 meter in size have been lifted with ACCO vacuum lifting equipment. The pad assemblies and vacuum pumps are arranged within a framed configuration that maintains low glass stress across the polished mirror surface. New pad assemblies are required for two separate 6.5m mirror projects. No vacuum pumps are required. RFCML will require a total of 76 vacuum pad assemblies. | ||
