Sanitary Sewer Inflow and Infiltration Abatement Project

The project consists of sanitary sewer improvements along I ee Road, Hill Place, and Rochester Street located in the Village of Dryden. Improvements include installation of approximately 193 linear feet of new 8 inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer pipe and 3 manholes, abandonment in place of approximately 190 linear feet of existing 8 inch diameter ACP sewer main, CIPP lining of approximately 349 linear feet of 8" ACP sewer main, three (3) sewer spot repairs using CIPP liner, and replacement of two (2) sanitary sewer house lateral from sewer main to ROW. The project includes traffic control and restoration of all asphalt and turf surfaces impacted by the sanitary sewer installations and repairs. If the CD is shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. 3.For a non-refundable fee, printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Avalon Planroom. If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. The Bidding Documents must be obtained through the Avalon Planroom in order for bidder to be considered a Plan Holder of Record. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete, and are not valid for bidding purposes. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the offices of MRB Group and the Village of Dryden, 16 South Street, Dryden, New York 13053 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM; or online through internet based construction information subscription services. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the issuing Office. Neither Village of Dryden, nor Engineer, nor Avalon will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Village of Dryden, Tompkins County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
