KHS Athletic Complex Rehabilitation

The Maine Regional School District 21 requests qualifications for Design and Construction Administration Services for a rehabilitation of the athletic complex at Kennebunk High School. RSU21 intends to contract the preparation of specifications, construction drawings, and contract documents as well as estimates of project cost at appropriate stages of the design, bid phase assistance, construction contract award, and inspection/contract administration services during and after construction. The project includes a phased approach to the renovation of the existing track and field event areas, bleachers, and field lighting as well as the phased replacement of the multi-use field inside of the track with a synthetic turf field. Design services are to be completed by February 4, 2021 culminating in receipt of construction bids not later than March 4, 2021. Facilities are released for construction no later than June 17, 2021 and substantial completion is required by August 20, 2021. The successful Design Firm will assist RSU 21 in planning for the phases of construction for this project, and incorporate phasing into the design documents.
